The objective of Middle East Motor Awards is to find a single, most eligible winner for the best car in the region. In order to cater to the vast segments of available automobiles in the Middle East, the awards are divided into specific categories & sub-divisions. A vehicle can be nominated for more than one category if eligible.

Best Small Sedan
  A small saloon car. Conventional & economical. Preferred for daily commute and a passenger friendly car.
Best Mid size Sedan
  A slightly larger saloon car. Conventional, economical and family oriented. Preferred for daily commute and a passenger friendly car.
